Lexus GS400 won't start after I put gas in it
Need the Forums assistance.......
I changed the timing belt, front cam seals, valve cover gaskets on my Lexus GS400. After I put to all together, I knew it would have a hard time starting because the pressure had been lost.
I got it started after a few minutes, and it take some time before the pressure built up. I knew that would be an issue for the first couple of days.
Now it starts fine, but my problem is that it won't start right away after I put gas in it. Its almost like I lose the pressure, and it has to build up again. I didn't have this problem before I changed the above. And, that's the only time it happens, after I put gas in it.
I haven't checked the fault code on it yet, but will. Could I have a problem with the EVAP hose, or the EVAP system failing into an " open " state, O2 sensors? I wouldn't think its the O2 sensors. I will check the hose connection as well.
Thanks Forum guru's, team.
Any assistance to resolve would be greatly appreciated......
