Default lexus Odometer Roll Back sc400 sc300?

I am looking to buy a used lexus sc300 or lexus sc400... I am looking for one with low miles. Can I be reasonably sure that the mileage on the odometers are correct... or are these easy to Roll Back??

Good Luck,

their's not much to do on that model to roll the miles back! so id say to run a carfax report to be absolutely positive on the mileage on the car you choose!

i have 3 of them and all of them are around 120k miles so if you are looking to spend 5-10,000 then thats about the reasonable amount of miles they will have now if you find one that has 60,000 and it looks good for a decent prive, probably not 10,000 though prolly more, then you may look into it a lttle bit but if you are unsure then get a carfax report.

The only way to reverse the mileage is by taking the dashboard and instrument panel apart and replacing the little plastic counter set gears, because if you try and spin them in reverse they will snap and break and need to be replaced.

Most people will not roll them back, but before you buy see if you can take the car to dealer and they can test the car and get a read out of the exact mileage as well as the condition of car. It will cost you about $65, bu it may be worth it.
