Jerking Brakes on '96 LS400

Hi...

This LS400 has an odd braking issue. At moderate highway speeds, when I brake, I get this juddering from the rear. It feels like maybe the calipers are loose or something. I can control it to a degree by applying the pedal slowly and softly in short pumps. In this way, the braking smooths out somewhat.

Upon removing the rear wheels, I found the calipers to be firmly and positively fastened with plenty of pad too. I put pressure on as many parts as possible to see what's loose and could find nothing loose.

I feel safer now, knowing that a caliper is not getting ready to fall off, or a cracked rotor, but it's still annoying.

Yeah, that's kinda what I thought.....

I had brake failure in mine. Get it checked out in a shop right away.
